Day 2 in Rome and I'm still tired from yesterday and more tired from today. However, being tired doesn't matter when you are seeing some of the most incredible pieces of art in the world. I'm learning so much about art, and I really do love it. Don't get me wrong I'm not going to pack it up and become an art history major, but I am very fond of Berninni's sculptures (which are EVERYWHERE by the way).
Also, tonight we had a traditional Italian meal. Meaning, we had 4 courses! The first course was a meat and bruchetta platter. The second course was a pasta with an egg cream sauce. The third course was a salad, pork chop and lamb chop. Finally, we finished it off with tiaramissu. Needless to say the food was great, but the company is what made the dinner a 2.5 hour success.
Pictures are up on facebook and it's off to the Colosseum for me in the morning and back to Perugia by night. Ciao bella!
